It was just an impulse at first. I was watching ROR and didn’t know about test-driven development or what I was doing. It felt like I was being played, especially when I watched a video where a passenger kept asking a flight attendant why phones couldn’t be used on airplanes. The flight attendant kept explaining from a scientific perspective, but eventually snapped and said, “You muggles, airplanes are powered by magic. Otherwise, how could such a big thing fly in the sky? Aerodynamics and electromagnetism are just made up by aliens to deceive you humans…”

That made me realize that programming is a bit like magic. In lectures, professors often say there’s no magic here, but I feel the opposite. You code, you put together a bunch of letters, and then it runs. Isn’t that magical?

Last time we analyzed some of the underlying reasons, this time we will talk about how to deal with it.

Firstly, let’s assume that there is no chance of recovery, and it’s not about kneeling in front of the goddess and crying, or doing something exaggerated like crying, making a scene, or even considering suicide in order to reverse the situation.

For individuals, the most important thing now is how to quickly get out of the predicament and minimize the losses.

In general, when the main character in a series dies, it is often the end.

For example, in “Frozen”, at the end of the story, the older sister steals the love interest, leaving the two girls heartbroken, and the male protagonist has no choice but to be with an animal (the fate of those who refuse to die often tends to be quite pitiful).

However, considering that this is a novel and there have been precedents before, as mentioned in “Rework,” “Fixing one bug often introduces a new one.”

Helplessly, we assume that the little wizard can be resurrected.

But the blow to the little wizard is so great that he surpasses the level of resurrection time and lingers in the altar, unwilling to come out. So, he decides to create an extra story.

The Little Master had been quiet for a while, but why did he suddenly reappear this time? Because this time is special.

In the afternoon, the Little Master was sunbathing on the balcony, bored of watching the crowd that the goddess recommended a few days ago, so he brushed it off and saw that the goddess was online, and they chatted for a bit.

Originally, the Little Master didn’t expect the goddess to respond to every message so quickly.

I haven’t finished reading it. After reaching school age, I can only skim through the main chapters of programming books. I can’t run each example one by one, which is somewhat regrettable.

Compared to others, this book covers a wide range of topics and the examples are representative. It is definitely worth buying.

The benefits of framework magic are obvious.

LittleMaster’s mom and dad are true Muggles, with not even half a magician in their social circle. They once thought that LittleMaster would graduate and become a repairman for magical devices.

LittleMaster was born in a purple sauce-like environment, ╮(￣ ▽ ￣”)╭. The situation was indescribable, and it’s unimaginable how difficult it was to communicate with his parents.

On this annual family reunion day, LittleMaster reluctantly went home.

Why? This involves two points:

1. Chinese-style parents
2. LittleMaster didn’t find a job after resigning

The blow from the goddess to the little mage far exceeded his expectations.

As a result, his previous defeat was just like floating clouds.

The Jin Dynasty poet Yuan Haowen once wrote:

The little mage is a sentimental kid. When he was still in the mage academy, he had a crush on a girl. He pursued her for three years, and on her birthday, while waiting for her downstairs with a well-prepared gift, he discovered that she was happily with another guy.

Everyone experiences moments of disillusionment. After three years of suffering, the little mage finally had an epiphany.

From that point on, he immersed himself in magic and eventually became a great master.

I don’t know when I first heard the term free will, but it feels like it’s been over a year.

Although I sometimes use this term, I have never really understood what it means.

I mentioned earlier that the little wizard is no longer interested in magic.

Zhu Xi said, “One should know when to stop and not be greedy.”

The little wizard’s intention was good, but he didn’t have the means to avoid it.

Life is often so interesting or cruel.

The Tao Te Ching states, “The way of heaven is to reduce excess, whereas the way of man is to strive for excess.”

As the saying goes, “Seize the opportunity when you’re weak, aim to take your life.”

After being humiliated by magic, Murphy’s Law began to show its power - the little wizard’s goddess no longer paid attention to him.
